It amazes me that billy cundiff even still gets workouts! U really want that guy kicking for you!?

There’s no denying that kickers can very easily give themselves the yips and can work themselves into cold streaks they never snap out of, but the fact is that before Cundiff missed that heart/career-breaker in the AFC Championship last year, he was one of the better kickers in the league. He burned through his welcome in Washington pretty quickly, but it amazes me that it can anybody can be “amaze[d]” that a guy who was one the league’s premier legs a year ago “is still getting workouts!”

Will Billy Cundiff be a Hall of Famer? No. Will he ever get back to his original form? Unlikely. Does he deserve to get kicked (no pun intended) around the league for a couple more years, so that teams in need of a kicker can spin his wheels? Absolutely.
