You would be wrong bro. Just being a realist in 2012. We haven't looked like we should since San Fran. The Green Bay game was an aberration, their line was awful & they have no running game. The Saints can run the ball & we get killed by teams that can run & then playaction off it. We haven't stopped the run all year long.

To a majority of teams in the NFL, significant time missed from injuries to your #1 WR & starting safety would spell doom to the team. However, the Giants have great depth through great drafts & smart free agent additions. The Giants build through the draft & supplement in free agency; that is the way you build a perennial winner (*cough ::Jets:: cough*). Despite the bad loss on Monday & the tough schedule the rest of the way, I fully expect the Giants to win the NFC East, mainly due to their depth, and get healthy & hit their stride just as the playoffs come around. That has been their Modus Operandi the past 4 years & you shouldn't expect anything else. However, they need to start playing well all season, avoiding these mid-season swoons because the Redskins are going to be a team to reckon with starting next season. The Giants can no longer expect to coast through the regular season through superior talent in the NFC East & turn it on week 15 through the playoffs; that talent gap is closing quickly with Washington rising quickly.

As a Giant fan, I think this weekend spells the end for us in 2012. Brees is going to just kill us. I hope I’m wrong but we better get used to the inevitability of watching this team drop 2 of the next 4 & just miss the playoffs

Something tells me you call for Coughlin's head every year.

This is why the Giants won't repeat last years playoff success. Eli is really good but he needs someone other than Cruz. Randle/Hixon don't count.

Meh. If he didn’t have a catchy first name and play for the holy Giants, he’d be considered just another injury-prone WR.

It's always funny when peoples' inferiority complexes with regards to New York start to show online. It's hilarity of the highest order.
