Right as the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos were getting set for kickoff on Thursday night, a fan jumped from the third level of the O.co Coliseum.
According to Katie Nelson of the Oakland Tribune, the fan jumped shortly before the scheduled kickoff time of 5:30 p.m. PT. The person was taken by ambulance to the hospital and is listed in serious condition according to Oakland police.
The identity of the person has not been released.
The Raiders released a statement on the incident via NBC Bay Area. “While we do not yet have any information beyond that which has been publicly reported, our thoughts and prayers are with this gentleman and his family and friends.”
