Jordy Nelson ruled out

Vikings Packers Football AP

The Packers will be down a receiver on Sunday against the Lions.

Wide receiver Jordy Nelson has been ruled out for the contest with the hamstring injury he suffered in last Sunday’s victory over the the Vikings. Nelson previously hurt the hamstring earlier this season, causing him to miss a game, and he’s also battled an ankle injury this year.

Nelson was never expected to play this week, starting with coach Mike McCarthy saying on Monday that he’d be pressed to get on the field against Detroit. He didn’t practice all week and the hope to have Nelson healthy for next week’s possible division-decider against the Bears likely kept the desire to play him this week at a minimum.

Linebacker Clay Matthews, safety Charles Woodson and defensive end C.J. Wilson continue to be out for the Packers. There’s a chance that they’ll get Woodson back for that Chicago game and the team is hopeful that Matthews’ hamstring will finish healing in time for him to rejoin the team as well.

Man, how can they blame this on the replacement refs?

The Packers have their own ward at Green Bay St. Vincent Hospital.

I feel the Packers are being too cautious with all of these injured players. All of these games left are very important. Make em suck it up and play in a little pain.

Well as long as the Packers continue to be able to hold without getting flagged, they should still be alright.

As long as Suh keeps playing like a complete idiot……Packers should be just fine.

If the Packers are soft I guess the Bears, Lions, Texans and Saints are just plain mushy. The Vikings of course continue to be gaseous.

They have been snakebite by injuries but that’s football.

What a sissy , suck it up and be a man. This team is full of crybabies , there are always tons of them hurt. What a bunch of panzies. Jack Youngblood played with a broken leg , Ronnie Lott cut off part of his finger and these panzies cry over boo boos……………..

Oh look, someone jealous of our 13 championships came up with a clever name: packerhater.

I bet we should all take him very seriously, as his judgement is in no way clouded by a desire to be included in the best fan base in to the world.

When was the last time you got a check from the packers? You talk like you put on a helmet on sunday.
Be a fan and stop pretending that you are on that team.
