He has a “right” to own guns only if the State in question doesn’t bar violent offenders from doing so.

I don’t know what yours was, but mine didn’t make the cut either. Politics aside, crime occurs, and law enforcement isn’t always the first line of defense.

Also, please read the 2nd Amendment. It doesn’t say every tool in the country should have a freaking gun.
