Tebow questionable, will travel to Jacksonville

All the folks who bought tickets in the sections formerly covered by tarps can breathe easily.

They will at least get a glimpse of their hometown hero this week, even if he’s not playing.

Jets coach Rex Ryan just announced that backup quarterback Tim Tebow (ribs) was questionable for Sunday’s game at the Jaguars, and that he would travel with the team.

As you might imagine, Tebow is being referred to as a “game-time decision,” and they plan to work him out Sunday morning to see if he’s even well enough to be their No. 2. If he can’t go, Greg McElroy would be next in line if the Jets need a relief pitcher for Mark Sanchez again.
