Bears fans, myself included, need to realize how bad things are. 7/1 to 8/4 with only a 3 point beting edge over the the Vikings for this Sunday makes all this “play-off-what will happen if” stuff seem very silly. The second year that the Bears have folded their tent after a good first half run but it is getting old. Baseball gives you 3 strikes before you are called out. Football I’m not so sure.

It seems that this happens every year. The Bears start off looking good for the playoffs, then the injury bug hits their best player or players.

Ashlon Jeffery should start at WR.
Hester can kick and punt return but the O-line has to step up and keep Cutler’s jersey clean. Forte needs to step up and help Marshall

Not to mention that Marshall has an incredible talent at “gripping” the ball unlike a lot of receivers on the Bears…He literally rips the ball out of the air and once he has it, its caught.

It’s just a really bad idea to try and take on Michael Robinson when he’s coming up the sideline. Heck, when he was a QB at Penn State, he nearly killed someone on a similar kind of play.

here is an idea for tice to think about on how to use hester. first of all stop with the screen passes! secondly have him run deep and have Cutler throw him the ball! it worked when Rex Grossman was qb and all he did was throw the ball deep to berrian! it made berrian a rich man and helped the bears get to the super bowl so why not use hester the same way?

The Bears passing game has been missing Jeffrey majorly. Devin Hester just isn’t a #2 receiver and neither is Earl Bennett.

The Bears have technically had their full WR corps for 2 games this season, and every single one of the receivers has had a huge drop at a crucial point in a game. Even Marshall, though he makes up for it through sheer amount of passes thrown his way.

I don’t think the Bears will be one & done. They’re going to be none & done. Packers win the division easily, and the Bears fall out of the wildcard. Same old Bears.

Not sure what game tapes you were watching but I’ve been to every Bears home game this season and a few away games. Hester never gets open even when single covered which is the vast majority of the time.

It’s absolutely huge getting Jeffrey back…this gives Cutty a legit #2 receiver. Now we need Jennings and Urlacher to heal up and come back strong for the playoffs.

Jennings out is a huge blow, but thankfully it’s against the Vikings. With Percy Harvin out, it’ll be AP rushing and throws to Kyle Rudolph all game long.
