Don’t disagree, that shouldn’t have been a foul, but how exactly does the Third “retract his version of the hit”? Is he supposed to write a letter to Goodell explaining that the call was wrong and forfeiting the W to Baltimore?

RG3 is taking too many hits. Newton can take hits because he’s huge but guys like RG3 can’t. RG3 is already a better QB than Vick ever was but I’m afraid to say he will end up injured like Vick throughout his career unless he smartens up.

Don’t entirely disagree, just want to point that
A. Griffin is the same size as Rodgers, Romo, and Ryan, and significantly bigger than Vick and Brees. Yes, all that is moot because he runs more often than they do and will put his neck/legs/knees on the line to win games.
B. As to him smartening up, he’s done a whole lot of that, and the play where he got injured was actually a pretty smart run: an obvious passing-down with the defensive backs spread wide and an open field for Griffin to run though.

In short, like Evel Knievel, just because Robert Griffin is the best at what he does, doesn’t mean it’s going to be safe.

More importantly, who gave peytonsneck 6 thumbs up? I really hope it was peytonsneck’s six internet connected devices; and not five real people enjoying Robert Griffin’s injury.

Quite the warrior, fighting through the pain and the swinging piece of wood his lower leg must have felt like. Great performance. Gutsy win by the Redskins. The team has some heart.
