Jake Locker is shredding the Colts

Jake Locker AP

Colts quarterback Andrew Luck’s stat line is worse than it looks. One of his two interceptions should have been overturned, the other was a Hail Mary before halftime.

Titans quarterback Jake Locker, however, is accurately portrayed by what’s in the box score.

Locker’s thrown for 213 yards and a touchdown in the first half, as the Titans are up 20-7 on the road. He’s 15-of-20 passing, making it look easy at times.

The Colts can’t protect Luck effectively, and they can’t stop a Titans passing game that hasn’t exactly been on fire this year.

So basically Luck is carrying this team.

Hasn’t Locker been injured a good portion of the year? It’s kind of tough to “be on fire” when you’re rehabbing but he actually looked pretty good when he played the Patriots before his injury.

I said then, and maintained ever since, that the Titans looked to have a decent QB on their hands. Now that he’s healthy again that’s looking more and more true
