Lions hanging onto 14-10 lead at half, barely

The first half of Sunday Night Football might not have told us much about the Packers. They haven’t had the ball enough to make a judgement.

But it told us everything you need to know about the Lions. They can be as good as any team they face. And they can self-destruct with remarkable ease.

They raced to a 14-0 lead, only to see it start to evaporate not long after they were penalized for excessive celebration of said touchdown.

First it was the ball slipping out of Matthew Stafford’s hand and being returned 43 yards for a touchdown by Packers defensive lineman Mike Daniels. Then Stafford threw a bad interception (though his old college roommate Kris Durham might not have helped him out much).

The Lions still lead 14-10 at the break, running well and dominating possession.

But if you’ve seen any amount of Lions football this year, you know no lead is safe.

Other than the Titans, Lions opponents leads are safe.

“(though his old college roommate Kris Durham might not have helped him out much).”

“Not helped him much.”? Stafford through the ball to an open receiver who ran the completely wrong route. That was 100% Durham.

Yup Durham had good separation and went completely the wrong way, had he just cut before and ran his route he would of caught that one for a big gain.

    Thanks, Suh!

    You always do something stupid!

It’s game over now. Suhzie is back to his pouty attitude, and handing out his normal cheap shots, and Rogers is going to take over now. Sorry Lions, you just lost. Seems every time Suhzie does something stupid, that’s when the game goes downhill for the motor city kitties.

It’s funny, Lions have good personnel. They just need to dump Jim (may the schwartz be with you) Schwartz, and Suhzie and his attitude, and bring in someone who knows how to win and they could be dangerous.

Primetime- You are not allowed to take that many steps and still hit the QB genius.

The Lions have to be the dirtiest team in the league. It warms my heart to see that cheaters still do not prosper.
