The Browns are not a team to underestimate this season. I'm not a Browns fa but lived in cleveland for many years and have attended many Browns games. Therefore i feel the need to put in my 2 cents. The browns finally look somewhat stable on offense and the running game will give the redskins D some troubles. However the Browns D has been stellar at times and below average at others. If the browns fantastic running D decides to show up and if Kirk Cousins is under center, the Browns take this game. If not, then Morris will run all over them and it will turn into the Indianapolis game (not close despite the score). The Browns this season have absolutely nothing to play for and nothing to lose. They are resilient. Weirder things have happened in Cleveland.

The browns are playing well but RGIII or Cousins, the Skins are te better team. Tough Browns D? Charles just had 170 on the ground yesterday with that Browns D trying to stop him and make Brady Quinn beat them. Morris will do just fine. And we just beat Ray Rice. He's better than T Rich. The only reason I worry is because this is one of those games the Skins usually drop the ball in. But I think we are finally seeing a new team in DC. Skins win 24-10

You Cleveland fans and haters in general must be fools, NO ONE picked the Redskins to beat the Cowboys, Giants or Baltimore and now you clowns are picking "the mistake by the lake", lol I had to use that, it made me laugh so much. Cleveland is on a 3 game winning streak but who have they beat, oh let's see, the Steelers without Rothlisberger, the TERRIBLE Oakland Raiders and the Horrible KC Chiefs; C'MON MAN! The Skins have beat the Cowboys, Giants, and Ravens, now compare the records. But the Skins will not take this game lightly, either way with or without RG3 we will be able to beat you clowns. There is something about this team that's bigger than any ONE player, as a fan you can see it and sense it, period, but as a Browns fan I can understand it if you have NO IDEA what that feels like. One more thing, get better soon RG3, my prayers are with you bro.

Some of you guys seriously have no idea what your talking about. Makes me sick... But then again your not a skins fan so you suck anyways.

I have faith in cousins just as much as RG3 to beat the browns. How cousins came out and finished the game against the ravens was not only impressive, but really showed he can come out and get the job done when needed and under pressure. shannahan can definately use this to his advantage for next week. And he knows that with either root he takes, he has confidence in both guys.

On a different note, the redskins had some mistakes yesterday but they never gave up and played their hardest until the very end. Great win for them and Im so impressed with how well they have come together after the bye week. The redskins are NOT the same team as they were the last 2 decades and I have a feeling they will be doing big things in the near future. HTTR babyy!!

In my opinion it's extremely unfortunate that people take someone like logicalvoicesays and stereotype an entire fanbase who truly cares about their team. Here are some points from a logical Skins fan who loves his team:

-RG3 looks like he has a bright future in the NFL, but the future is a little less bright if he keeps taking hits
-Skins fans are excited, and they have every right to be ESPECIALLY because of how irrelevant we have been for the past 20 years
-No, we do not take RG3's God comment at face value. And this is coming from a religious guy.
-We SHOULD fear the Browns, because they are playing great football right now. But so are the Skins.
-Cousins may have won us the game at the end but we don't think we'll be just as good without him.

It seems pretty obvious that most of you don't know anything about Kirk Cousins. He may not be as "sexy" of a QB as RGIII or Andrew Luck, but is very capable of being a starter in this league. Many people were shocked that he was still available in the 4th Round of the draft. When he was selected, Shanahan called him and said, "I can't believe you're still available. I know we just drafted a QB, but you're too good to pass up." Or something along those lines.

Cousins was a four year starter at Michigan State, and is the winningest QB in school history going 27-12 as a starter. He holds school records in most major QB stats, and played against some pretty strong defenses in the Big Ten. His last game was a gutsy win against Georgia in the Capital One Bowl. He has knocked other QB's out of contention for a starting job. Keith Nichol transferred in after becoming Sam Bradford's backup, but never got much of a chance. And the recruitment of Kirk Cousins may have contributed to Nick Foles transferring out after his freshman year.

The guy knows how to win. He gets it. He's solid in the pocket with an accurate arm capable of putting touch on the ball. Sure, he's not gonna run like RGIII, but he can perform well outside of the pocket when necessary including running for 1st downs and TD's. He'll make an occasional mistake, but he will make up for up at some point. He's a very cerebral player and makes sure he is always well-prepared. He's got a damn good head on his shoulders too. Go on Youtube and search for "Kirk Cousins speech." Tell me that's not a guy you want on your team.....

"The answer is very very very easy. The reason people in here HATE the skins is because of their dumb a$$ posters like logicalvoices. You can bank on that guy posting some asinine comment on EVERY post about any NFC East team.

On a side note, RG3 is still an unproven QB that nearly had his season ended today. The fact that the skins gave up all their picks to move up and draft him is a clear act of desperation that just will not pan out."

OK. Let's point out all of the ridiculous comments here.

-RG3 is an unproven QB. Judging by your screen name, you are a Giants fan. Griffin has compiled the following stats against your boys. 33/49 67% completion percentage. 421 yds passing. 3 TDs, 0 ints. He also has carried the ball 14 times for 161 yards. He also has led this team to more wins this season than they had last season. I would say he has proven himself.

-As for the comment about giving up all of our draft picks to move up and draft him. We actually only gave up 4 draft picks over 3 years to move up and get him. You are aware that there are more rounds to the draft than the first round? Right?

-Saying we did it out of desperation. That would be like saying that the Giants mortgaged their future to move up and get Eli Manning from San Diego out of desperation. Kind of sounds ridiculous, huh?

-Finally, Griffin is not out of the year. No matter how bad you want that to be the truth. He may not play this weekend. But, that would be his choice, based on medical advice.

We all know that the haters are really mad right now that he did not suffer a career ending injury. Remember what happened the last time he used bad judgement in his running? He came back even better.

So let me get this straight browns fans. A team that ranks 23 in totals yards given up, 21st in pass yards given up, and 19th against the run, is a dominant defense? Really? By no means do I believe this is a cake walk game. Cleveland has arguably one of the best offensive lines in football when healthy. They also have a dynamic back that can do it all, along with several big play receivers that run sub 4.4 40 yard dash times. The tight end Cameron is quietly becoming a force of his own. Only thing in saying is lets not be homers and look at the facts. The facts are, Jamal Charles absolutely destroyed the browns with 165 yards today. In a game that Kansas city was getting stomped. The facts are the redskins are ranked in the top 5 against the run. Only four backs have run for 100+. Keep in mind we've faced league leading Adrian Peterson and top five rusher Doug Martin. Neither of which crossed the century mark. The facts are, the redskins are THE best rushing team in the nfl thus far, and what's more? Even without adding rg3's rushing yards the redskins are still top ten in rushing offense. My point is Cleveland may throw the ball all over the skins. They may pick rg3 or cousins off a couple times.(I doubt that) but to say a team that is 24th in the league in rushing offense and 19th against the run, will come and dominate the skins at what they do best, well that's just absurd. The browns have allowed 9 out of 13 teams they have played to run for over 100+ yards this year. With all that being said, I believe this will be a close game. Cleveland has a lot to fight for. Technically they are not eliminated from playoff contention, not to mention everyone is auditioning for a job because of the front office change. Cleveland is a good team, and I seriously doubt a redskins team that has come to play every week will all of the sudden overlook that.

Keep in mind we’ve faced league leading Adrian Peterson and top five rusher Doug Martin. Neither of which crossed the century mark. The facts are, the redskins are THE best rushing team in the nfl thus far, and what’s more? Even without adding rg3′s rushing yards the redskins are still top ten in rushing offense. My point is Cleveland may throw the ball all over the skins. They may pick rg3 or cousins off a couple times.(I doubt that) but to say a team that is 24th in the league in rushing offense and 19th against the run, will come and dominate the skins at what they do best, well that’s just absurd.

That injury looked ugly on the replay, and knees are the weakest and most prone to injury of body parts, excepting concussions. Bounty's or not, some very large men are trying to punish the QB every week, and the successful ones over time limit their exposure to hits as much as possible. Granted, he's an exciting talent to watch at present, but his style is not amenable to long term success. Although he may be a lesser talent, I see Russell Wilson having the longer career, perhaps because he is smaller and knows he cannot survive taking big hits for long. Of course RGIII is intelligent and may learn to adjust his style.

Time will tell. The Browns are much improved, I expect a good game next week.

The Redskins are also playing better football....they just won three straight against division rivals, and pulled out a gritty late season win against a perennial playoff team. This isn't the Redskins of recent memory.

I'd like to see Cousins get another shot at a full game myself. He's more than capable imo, and the Redskins would be wise not to risk RGIII further (i.e. get him healthy for the season finale vs Dallas).

As a Skins fan I worry about this game. They win the hard ones (Dallas, NY, Baltimore) and lose the ones they should win (St. Louis, Carolina). Without RG3 it’s gonna be tough. As an avid reader of this website, and someone who doesn’t comment much I have to say something. There are a lot of Redskins haters on this site for some reason and I really don’t understand at all. You’re entitled to your opinions, but if you’re not a Dallas, NY or Philly fan then why, and for all you trolls who clearly don’t know jack about football, your comments are quite amusing. First off, Foles is not nor barring a career ending injury will never be better than RG3. Also, if you actually watch the games, the Redskins are hands down the hottest team right now, and their D has been playing lights out during the four game winning streak. I wish there was a test you had to take on football knowledge before you were allowed to comment on things you know clearly nothing about. Here is to a speedy recovery for Griff because yes, without him we have no chance (even though Cousins could be something special). Their offense isn’t built for his style. HAIL!!!

----------------------------------------------------

The answer is very very very easy. The reason people in here HATE the skins is because of their dumb a$$ posters like logicalvoices. You can bank on that guy posting some asinine comment on EVERY post about any NFC East team.

On a side note, RG3 is still an unproven QB that nearly had his season ended today. The fact that the skins gave up all their picks to move up and draft him is a clear act of desperation that just will not pan out.

Looking at the Redskins/Browns game next week, IF RGIII plays it would be a close game. Without RGIII I feel bad for Cousins, Uncles, Aunts or anyone else that has to deal with the Browns defense. Redskins got the raw end of the schedule as this would have been an automatic win had this game been scheduled for the beginning of the season. Now the Browns top 10 defense from last year is healthy and their rookie offense is finally coming together so I'm more inclined to think this is an easier win for Cleveland than it is Washington. As odd as this sounds the Browns ending the season on a 6 game winning streak and 2nd place in the AFC North is extremely believable at this point.

What's more unbelievable is Cleveland was ready to flush the Trent Richardson, Brandon Weeden, Mitchell Schwartz and Josh Gordon picks just to get RGIII. In hindsight that would have been the dumbest draft move ever (ok 2nd dumbest. picking Tebow in the first round by Denver still takes the cake) because those guys are a huge part of their turnaround. Talk about dumb luck.

And then that same Charlie Batch beat the Ravens. So what are you saying? The Ravens are weak as well? If Cleveland wins, it’ll be pretty quiet from all you so called Skins fans.

So by that logic the Redskins have won the last two Super Bowls because they beat the Giants twice in 2011 and beat the Packers in 2010.

And then that same Charlie Batch beat the Ravens. So what are you saying? The Ravens are weak as well? If Cleveland wins, it’ll be pretty quiet from all you so called Skins fans.
