They are already reporting that Garrett is saying the finger may be fractured, no a torn ligament. They are waiting a few days to see how the finger reacts to treatment.

Seriously, I don’t feel bad for Bryant or the Cowboys. Bryant is a huge diva with a big attitude and an even bigger mouth. It might do him some good to sit on the sideline and watch his team lose.

If the Cowboys win the rest of their games, which includes a game against the Redskins, they will finish ahead of the Redskins. Is that really so difficult for you to understand? If the Cowboys win their last three, and the Giants lose one of their last three, Dallas wins the division. Given their respective remaining schedules, it isn’t that far-fetched a scenario. Or wouldn’t be, if Dallas’ starters weren’t The Walking Wounded.

From what I’ve heard, this is one of those injuries that requires immediate surgery or else it will never heal properly. At least that’s what I’ve heard. So while Dez may be able to play through it for the rest of the season, he and the Cowboys have to think about how this will effect him long term if he doesn’t have the surgery now.

At 7-6 and currently outside of one of the playoff spots, I think I would think long term with this injury. Sure they could still make the playoffs, but does this team really look like a team that could make a Super Bowl run? I don’t think so. So there’s no need to risk Dez’s long term health for a season that isn’t going anywhere.

I recently saw a show on Jimmy Johnson and during one of the speaches he gave to which ever team he was coaching he really stressed how important conditioning is. I wonder how much this comes into play with a team like Dallas who’s losing players left and right.

A few years back and even some WRs today just tape that baby up and play the rest of the games until they have no chance at all to make the playoffs! No way you should be going out like that when the team is still in the hunt. I would say this about any WR on a team trying to make the playoffs.

Only way he should be out is if the doctors say fix it now or it can never be fixed. And I really doubt that is the case.

Always have felt this way. I hate to see any player get hurt even if they don’t play for my team. I also hate to see fans cheering about an injured player. It speaks of how much class you have.

Not to downplay his injury, but if he came back in the game and caught more passes, rest it up and suit up next game. This is an important stretch for the Cowboys. Even if they have him suit up but don’t throw to him, his presence alone will make defenses have to account for him and help their chances.

Typical hater, always with the arbitrary windows of time. The Cowboys have won three Super Bowls since the last time the Redskins played in one. The Giants have won a couple recently but still trail the Cowboys even though they haven’t been to one since Clinton was president. The Eagles are the Eagles. Hate on, jealous haters.

Excuse me? Every other fan of every other team does the exact same thing. To single out a fan base for being unrealistic about their team’s chances is to stop looking in the mirror. Redskins fans, what about the fact that an entire franchise is in first place (Giants). Typical hipocrite behavior, if you ask me.

So, let’s just call the season ended and let the current division and wildcard leaders have the playoff spots because the other fans/teams don’t deserve to have hope.
