As 49ers running back Brandon Jacobs continues to vent his frustrations about his lack of playing time, coach Jim Harbaugh is refusing to discuss the matter.

Reporters repeatedly asked Harbaugh about Jacobs at his press conference today, and Harbaugh repeatedly refused to say anything.

“I don’t . . . I really don’t have a comment for you on that at this point,” Harbaugh said when asked about Jacobs. “No comment.”

Asked if he has spoken to Jacobs, Harbaugh answered, “No comment.”

Asked if Jacobs is still a member of the team, Harbaugh answered, “I’ll go with the Fifth Amendment. I have no comment on that.”

Asked if he knew that Jacobs had a tendency to complain about playing time, Harbaugh answered, “Yeah, at this time, at this hour, I choose to have no comment.”

Jacobs is buried on the 49ers’ depth chart and has played in only two games this season, gaining seven yards on five carries. Harbaugh doesn’t seem interested in playing Jacobs. Or talking about him.
