The Eagles lost tight end Brent Celek to a concussion on Sunday, giving up three offensive starters on the sideline with concussions.
That number may drop to one very soon. Celek has already been ruled out for Thursday’s game against the Bengals and presumably won’t practice at all this week, but running back LeSean McCoy and quarterback Michael Vick could be at practice on Tuesday. Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com reports that both players have passed their baseline concussion tests, which means they can begin working with the team again.
It’s still up in the air whether either player is in uniform come Thursday. Vick won’t be starting at quarterback, so the team isn’t under any pressure to get him back. Bryce Brown would likely hand the job back to McCoy, but there isn’t much practice time available for the running back after such a long spell off the field. It would seem likely that he’ll play again this season, though.
Vick, on the other hand, may have already played his final snap as an Eagle.
