Karma for what? The 6th (yes I said 6th because Miller is better too) best back on the team can’t face reality and goes running his mouth all year? Yes, Jacobs was suspended for conduct detrimental to the team. You can’t suspend someone solely for being a turnover machine (Vick).

Yeah that and tweeting he hated his boss, hanging out in the Giants locker room for an hour after their game, oh and being a big team distraction. Yeah I’m not so confident the union will win. This is legitimate conduct detrimental so get over your sad hate for Harbaugh and face reality. The most that happens is Jacobs still gets paid but has to stay away..

While the Giants were an obvious potential destination with Brown on IR and Bradshaw banged up, remember… Jacobs wouldn’t redo his contract to help the team with cap room. Selfish then, selfish now. The Giants could have re-signed Plax too, and they chose not to. Jerry Reese and Tom Coughlin seem to be the kinds of guys who won’t let you cross them twice.

Whelp- I’ve read the article 10 times now and don’t see where it says he was suspended without pay.

Where did everyone get that? They absolutely cannot suspend him without pay. He will be paid to stay away from the team just like Keyshawn Johnson was by John Gruden back in the day.

The Niners buried Dixon on the depth chart this offseason adding Jacobs, LMJ, and Cartwright. What did Dixon do? He shut his mouth and worked his *ss off. Now he is dancing in the endzone after scoring a goal line TD that would have been for Jacobs. Way to go Jacobs. All mouth then gets knocked south.

No way they get away with suspending him without pay. The Eagles barely got away with suspending TO with pay under similar circumstances.

I am curious what they will do with him if there is a deep play-off run. I think the old CBA limited the number of games a player could be suspended by the team to four.
