APThere were reports yesterday of Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles’ interest in the vacant head coaching job at Temple.
The timing was good, since according to the Philadelphia Inquirer, he interviewed at his alma mater last night.
Bowles played at Temple in the mid-1980s, and was the sixth candidate to interview. Giants offensive line coach Matt Rhule was among the others, according to the report.
Temple athletic director Bill Bradshaw declined comment on Bowles or any of the other candidates, saying he thought he’d have a decision by next week.
