buffalobills2012: "If this team was hurting for money why wouldnt they sell the naming rights??"

The team doesn't own the stadium. It's owned by Erie County. Now, if Ralph and the Bills invested their handsome profits into building a new stadium (I dunno, on the waterfront closer to downtown), and THEN sold the naming rights on a stadium that they actually owned... that would be something, right?

I was a Chan Gailey supporter up until this season. His coaching decisions have been horrendous this year. You have a superstar halfback, a good backup, and a subpar QB.. and the backup and the subpar QB are the ones getting all the touches??? How does Spiller end up with as many touches as the opposing team's *PUNTER*???

I don't expect the Bills to hire an expensive, big-name coach, but there must be *someone* out there with some good ideas who would love the opportunity to be a head coach.

"Over an extended period of time, now everyone will see that he is an undersized running back , that his average gain per run is about 2 yards and that it was a wasted draft pick."

He averaged over 5 ypc last year and is over 6 this year. It's a wasted pick because Gailey is a horrible coach.

The thing with the Bills not going after Mario and being able to spend the money on other players. Who were they going to get? A franchise that is killed by fans for being ridiculously cheap and they finally spend money on a player and fans still complain.

The Bills have needed a franchise QB since Jim Kelly retired. This is nothing new to anybody but Gailey and Nix.

Why do you say he will get a ton of touches? Even when Jackson went out Sunday Galley didn't bother giving it to Spiller, what makes you think he will change?

And Hungbob, that has to be one of the dumbest comments I have ever seen here calling him an undersized 2 yard per run runner....

Do not take a running back in the first round. Spiller was drafted #9 while 6 picks later the Giants selected Jason Pierre-Paul. If the Bills had drafted him instead, they would not have had to sign Mario Williams to that ungodly contract.
Money saved and able to be spent on other players.
I think it is about time Nix and company explain some of their wasted draft picks. such as passing on Andy Dalton and picking CB Aaron Williams. Dalton was selected immediately after by the Bengals. And now they are talking about the need for going after a franchise QB.

Chan is still going to give Choice more touches than he deserves. I mean, at this point, it probably will be better to avoid running Spiller into the turf, but that's only going to happen because of Gailey's infatuation with keeping the ball out of CJ's hands.

It's amazing how overmatched Gailey is every week, yet I don't get the feeling he has any chance of getting canned. He's a terrible HC, making terrible gameday decisions with the inability to get his team over the hump. Time to move on.

prefect timing Chan. Lets wear out the future now that the season is over.

Can we pleaaaaaaase get a new owner??

And dont give me the "new owner will move the team" bs. We have the fan support in place and its always been there.
All you need to do to see what the problem is in Buffalo is look at the name of the Stadium.
If this team was hurting for money why wouldnt they sell the naming rights??
Terrible decsion making from the top to the janitor.
