Colts put Donald Brown on IR, sign Mewelde Moore

Ndamukong Suh AP

Needing to add some bodies to the backfield for their surprising playoff run, the Colts signed running backs Mewelde Moore and Deji Karim Tuesday, placing Donald Brown and fullback Robert Hughes on injured reserve.

Injuries have kept Brown from being the “bell cow” back the Colts envisioned, limiting him to 417 yards on 108 carries this year.

Bringing Moore back to a roster spot created by Hughes flips a move from earlier this year. Karim had been waived-injured by the Colts in September.

I hope Brown gets better soon, but this is great for Ballard. His fantasy value just went up even more.

    Bye bye bust!!!!

By the way, Indianapolis writers should be ashamed of themselves for not getting on his case enough.

That could’ve put pressure on the Indianapolis Colts to play Vick Ballard more!!! Vick Ballard = Underrated Fantasy Stud!!!!

Colts fans, Meet your newest starting running back!!!!

Just another symbol of the last few years of the Polian era, dude was most famous for Peyton Manning screaming at him during a playoff game, can’t say I’ll miss him.
