No practice yet for Gronkowski

Gronk

Amid reports that Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski may try to practice this week, nearly a month after suffering a broken forearm, he has not practiced yet.

Then again, the week still isn’t over.

According to Michael Whitmer of the Boston Globe, Gronkowski is the only player who wasn’t spotted at practice on Thursday. He’s the only player who didn’t practice due to injury on Wednesday, with forearm and hip still being identified as the reasons for his absence.

As Tom Curran of CSN New England said earlier this week on PFT Live, Gronkowski likely will return in the postseason, which if the Pats get a bye will give Gronk another month to heal.

They’re doing pretty well without him. When he returns, they’ll be even better.
