Ahmad Bradshaw out for Sunday

David Wilson had better get ready to do some more backflips.

Giants starting tailback Ahmad Bradshaw has been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Falcons with a knee injury, according to Art Stapleton of the Bergen Record.

With Andre Ware on IR and Brandon Jacobs long gone, the rookie first-rounder who spent plenty of time in coach Tom Coughlin’s doghouse will now have a chance to save the day.

And maybe the season, especially since the Redskins and Cowboys are only one game behind the Giants in the NFC East.

Wilson has been told to stop the back flips. It’s not the Giant way

    Is Bradshaw made of glass?

And nothing of value was lost.

I think you meant Andre Brown.

You mean Andre Brown. DJ Ware was cut before the year.

    “With Andre Ware on IR”

Since when did we have the former Detroit Lions QB on our roster?

Any Giants fan who doesn’t recognize A.B.’s value just doesn’t know football. His leadership, ability to pick up tough yards, and second-to-none pass-blocking is definitely going to be missed.

Regardless, David Wilson is the man and I can’t wait to see what he does with a lion’s share of the carries. GMEN!!

    No backflips needed. Go Falcons!

Tough loss, David Wilson is talented, but is not an everydown back.

Andre Ware is a sports analyst and commentator and a former American football player. He was the 1989 Heisman Trophy winner as a quarterback for the University of Houston, becoming the first African-American quarterback to win the award — per wikipedia.

ha this guy acts like Bradshaw not playing is the end of the Giants’ offense.

Falcons just don’t have the means to score consistently with that noodle-armed QB and that puddle of slow moving sludge of a RB. Who cares about Jones and Gonzalez when your QB can’t get it to them consistently? And if they try to resort to slants and other quick passes, Ryan is going to have 2-3 INT, at least one coming off a tipped ball. They aren’t powerful enough on either one of their lines to dominate like they’d need to. That’s why the Falcons haven’t beaten us in years.

Ernie Davis of Syracuse University was the first Black to win the Heisman, 20+ years before Ware.

Although missing Amukamara is of bigger concern. Hosley will have to step his game up on the outside.

Wilson > Bradshaw, its the truth and theyll figure that out this week

  23. 3beeps says: Dec 14, 2012 5:10 PM

The Falcons are ranked 26th in total defense (28th against the run and 22nd against the pass). My guess is David Wilson will be able to call the number of back-flips he wants to do.

For comparison purposes……the Saints were ranked
32 against the run and No. 29 against the pass.
And the Giants put up 50.

It was sort of fun watching the Giants start all of their possessions on the Saints 2o last week. Giants fans can’t be too worried by the news about Bradshaw.
