Though the Falcons aren’t yet in danger (grave or otherwise) of blowing the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoffs, they soon could be, if they can’t rebound from an ugly win at Carolina.
More importantly, the Falcons could use the pre-postseason boost that could come from beating a quality team like the Giants, who held Atlanta to only two points during a wild-card playoff game in January.
As the Falcons prepare to host the defending champs, they may not have receiver Roddy White. Via Mike Garafolo of USA Today, White missed his third day of practice with a knee injury. He’s listed as questionable for Sunday.
It would be a shock if White doesn’t suit up. Despite an assortment of injuries over the course of his career, the eight-year veteran has never missed a game. Ever.
