Moss gives 49ers an early lead

Randy Moss has done this before.

What it makes you wonder is where it’s been, or whether the 49ers were just saving him.

Moss just gave his team a 7-0 lead over the Patriots, with a vintage performance in New England. His 24-yard touchdown reception actually paled in comparison to hanging onto a shorter route earlier, when he was doubled up by Patriots defenders.

Moss had 21 catches and two touchdowns for the 49ers entering tonight, not a huge contribution. Of course, this is the same guy who caught 47 touchdowns for the Patriots from 2007-09, so they know he can do it.

I’m really excited about this game, but I want to commend NBC for cutting away from the game for just a few moments to carry the Obama Newtown speech. Very class move and the right thing to do.

Regardless of your politics he made a lot of sense tonight.

Pats are lucky that this isn’t a total blowout.

I know what happened in Connecticut is terrible but we missed almost the whole first quarter but really? when he was done with his speech the first quarter was almost finished.

I was at the game so I missed Obama…or did I? The guy is cool and all but he is just a puppet on strings. Only does what the people who funded his campaign want him to do. Thumbs down me all you want haha.
