kicking field goals is a lot different than fake punts when you are obviously crushing the other team.

who cares – i’ve heard many fans at the game say it was the highlight of the entire “show”. At that point it was important to keep the game somewhat fun for those who spent so much money coming to see it.

Last year Chan Gailey tried running up the score by having Brad Smith throw up 41-7 against the Chiefs. Much like everything he does football related that failed. If it gets Gailey fired Carroll did the Bills a favor.

Some people are simply going to find fault with anything Pete Carroll does. They’re called “whiners,” and while often entertaining (unintentionally, that is), their opinions rarely have any objective merit.

Pete Corroll is a classless coach. Up 4 scores in the 4th quarter, runs a fake punt. leaves Wilson in and allows him to continue to throw, still up 4 scores. Seahawks are not that good, cards and Bills just played poorly.

Boy, as a Seahawk fan, I sure am bummed that the rest of the NFL hates (and fears) my team. I sure am upset that they are just destroying teams, week after week. And I cry just a little bit every time I think about the Green Bay game, because people hate us! Whats next? Endless stupid jokes about Nirvana and Starbucks, every single time they play a primetime game? No ROY consideration at all for a QB that runs for 3 TDs and 100 yards without a turnover in his last 5-6 games? Oh yeah thats already whats up.

Newsflash: not a single Seahawk fan cares what you whiny losers think of us or our team and we never have. We know youre jealous of our rookie phenom at QB, the 6 shutdown DBs in our secondary, and the way nobody has been able to beat us by 2+ scores.

We will love the taste of your tears, and the pathetic sound of your whining when we beat your sorry team in the playoffs. This team feeds on your hatred.

Listen I’m a Bills fan and had no problem with the call, as stated above the defense should have stopped them. I.have more of an issue with Carroll apologizing for it, don’t make excuses pete, you did it just own it.
The bills quit early on in this game, it goes to show you how they are coached. How they have won five games this year with this smuck as HC is beyond any possible rationalization. If he isn’t fired this year a lot of Bills fans will not be renewing season tickets. I know I won’t! Unless your grab me a QB early in the draft and a coach with a hunger inside not a pace maker attached to his thigh.

Pass interference is not called in the end zone on a hail mary pass. If they called it on a hail mary pass there would NEVER be any hail mary passes attempted. The replay official upheld the ruling on the field. Deal with it. Get over it. Move on. Nothing to see here.

As for the fake punt…had the Bills shown up to play and actually done something to stop Seattle from scoring they wouldn’t have been down by 30. It’s not Pete’s job to pull punches. It is their job to come up with an answer and play like they are being paid millions of dollars to play a child’s game. It’s great of Pete to give an apology, but quite frankly there was no apology needed. This is not PeeWee football.

The official that gave the TD to the Hawks was the replay official and he wasn’t a circus clown replacement ref.

Probably should have called off the fake punt, but after watching Tim Ruskell destroy a SB team and Pete and John build a playoff team in only their third year of a five year rebuild, a mistake I will happily accept.

Funny, I don’t remember Bill Cowher hanging his head in shame when the Steelers beat the Hawks in the Super Bowl with all the bad calls that went in Pittsburgh’s favor. He (and the team) gladly took the Lombardi.
