APThe Vikings, who developed a reputation last year for blowing big leads, are now flirting with the possibility of blowing a lead that would blow them out of playoff contention.
After building a 33-7 lead, the Vikings have now allowed a pair of touchdowns to the Rams. With a two-pointer, the lead has been cut from 26 points to 11.
With more than half a quarter remaining in the game, the Rams still have a chance to tie things up.
UPDATE 3:51 p.m. ET: Enter Adrian Peterson. With a 52-yard run, the Vikings are in field-goal range. And Peterson has 212 for the game.

The man is on a mission for that record! Pulling for you AD.
Stop putting Gerhart in, he’s terrible.
Adrian Peterson never fails to amaze me. Best back in the league. And much love to the fullback Jerome Felton, he is outstanding.
Ya know, as a Rams fan, the loss doesn’t bother me so much as a complete and utter inability to stop AD…
Wow, can’t wait to see what Peterson will do to Houston’s run defense. Might break 2000 with a week to go. Dickerson has to be worried.
Dear Mr. Dickerson,
We know you don’t watch sports, you don’t want your record to be broken unless by your son, or by someone with character like Adrian Peterson. But you believe it won’t be broken. I admire your desire to keep the record, hell I would. But it the infamous words of Carl Lewis……”Uh Oh!”.
