He is averaging 3.8 yards per carry and has only scored one touchdown all year. The down side is he’s out hurt more than he plays and everytime he touches the ball we have to hold our breath and hope he doesn’t fumble. He’s just another one of AJ Smith’s bust choices. I can hardly wait to see who Spanos comes up with for next year because he hasn’t made very good decisions either. Oh well. the Madison High Warhawks are looking great.

I disagree

He’s an ineffective runner with poor vision, ball security problems and a long injury history.

He can play in the passing game, and that’s the only really good thing about him. Mathews future is as a third down back. A carry here and there and some passing down work. He’s not a feature back.
