Getty ImagesAfter a week on the sideline, Terrell Suggs is back on the field for the Ravens.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Suggs will play today, two weeks after suffering a torn biceps against the Steelers. Suggs missed last week’s game against the Redskins.
The torn biceps is the second injury this year from which Suggs has recovered very quickly. He also suffered a torn Achilles tendon during the offseason, an injury that for many players requires a recovery time of a full year, but he missed only the first six regular season games.
While it’s impressive that Suggs is playing at all, he hasn’t been quite the same player this year: After recording 14 sacks in 16 games last year, he has just two sacks in six games this year.
