As a Vikings fan, I will always have a headache, considering it was our worthless win over you skins last year in week 17, that cost us the 2nd overall pick, not to mention Petersons blown out knee(which is almost showing to be a good thing for AP)…. But this kid is not only an Amazing athlete, he is a Classy dude, who carries himself to perfection with his press conferences. Always smiling & positive! This guy is a stud! Nobody can say a thing negative about this guy! I’d love to have him leading my squad, and so would 25 other franchises & their fans!

Some people hate for hate’s sake.

Anyway, this is a proud franchise that’s lost it way thanks to Daniel Snyder. Our coach and GM have something that is imaginative and lasting. I would think the skins will get allot of bandwagon jumpers based on the style they play as RG3 is revolutionizing the game. Cousins ran it to perfection against an improved Browns defense. Yesterday i saw both Ben Rothlesberger and Eli Manning run the read option and pick up 5 yards. Russ wilson scored 2 of his 3 rushing tds in the read option.

bengal lover here if you don’t like pittsburgh please root for my team!!!! LOL I don’t like washington but I do this year because I always liked RG3. I probably won’t see this later unless someone responds to me but why do people here act like they might not like him personal wise. I think he is cool in college my team is the buckeyes that one for pride this year. anyway I always thought he was great plus didn’t the coach pretty much give up on his own team and rg3 said lets at least try for playoffs coach. He has been winning because of him and his coach gave up a little that says something about his leadership and he also went to the rutgers womens basketball team game and danced in the stands for them to try to support them. no other football players was there I guess, they only showed him. way to go supporting again rg3

They got the second overall pick for their 2012 first rounder which we used on RG3 you moron. So NO, it was not 3 it was TWO future first rounders and swapping 1sts this year. We gave the 6th overall and got the 2nd. Why are so many people in this world of below average intelligence?

Where did you people go to school? The pick used to acquire a player is not a pick that you GAVE UP. He cost us 2 1sts and a 2nd or 3rd depending on variables. And every other team wants him. I think we did OK!

RG3 is very likable but more so than his popularity, this is a sign of the Redskins futility. Sales are so high because it’s been so long since the ‘Skins have had a player in which any fan would want a jersey. New Nike jersey and the first player who is good and will assuredly be there for more than 2yrs. London Fletcher is an animal, no disrespect to him.

They gave up 3 first rounders and a 2nd for him. The first round pick they used on him counts, as they could have used that on a different player if not for drafting him.

So their first rounder, and the 3 other picks count as the total price for him…its not that hard.

Cooley, Portis, Taylor, Arrington, Bailey, Samuels, Davis, Orakpo- there haven’t been a lot of quarterbacks (to put it mildly), but between very good skill players and the money flooded DMV area Washington has generated more than its fair share of jersey sales over the last 10 years alone.
