OK OK, if Mark Sanchez was on a team with Calvin Johnson and Plaxico Burress in his prime and an offensive line with several all pro players and Bill Walsh as his offensive coordinator (the finest offensive line of all time), then how would he do ? I’m just saying… It’s a team game ! The Jets let Plaxico Burress go, Braulon Edwards go, and Sanantonio “the cancer with talent” Holmes gets injured, as does Dustin Keller…. Then what weapons does Sanche have to assist him in directing the offense to high point totals ? No one but rookies and a backup tight end Cumberland…

I’m a Titans/Oilers fan and NFL fan for 34 years…

It’s the GM’s fault in New York… He is the one who should be going, going, gone !

Think about it! P.S. Tim Tebow will be the starting Quarterback for the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2013 and he will prove all the critics wrong, weekly again ! Book it !

What in the world does Greg McElroy need to do to get a shot? He is the only NY QB to look even half-decent this season.

I mean, this has to be Rex simply being completely unable to admit a mistake and afraid that playing McElroy now will prove what a huge mistake he made not giving this kid a fair shot.

This kid reminds me of Jim Plunkett. Plunkett was a first round pick of the New England Pats and just did not have a good team around him. He became shell shocked, lost his MOjo. He went to the 49ers, still no MOjo. But went to the Raiders, sat and watched, and when called on, found his MOjo. He also found himself behind maybe the best o-line in NFL history. I think he can come back and be a great QB, NY is just to much pressure for some QB’s. It is the lion’s den for sure. He needs to come back with a team with a great o-line, and get these shells out of his head, sit awhile and wait for his chance again. He will not be a Jet next year.

Another sad year for a long time Jet fan. It seems that it does’t matter who they bring in to run this organization, it all falls apart in the end. Who in there right mind would want to come to this team and help rebuild it. I suspect even players will start to avoid coming to this dysfunctional organization. I can’t see myself spending any more money for season tickets to watch this mess. When I want to go to a game I can get tickets for 50.00 bucks or less instead of what I pay for season tickets. Very sad day for this Jet fans.

At least Rex is going down with the ship, you can’t bring him, the GM, coaches and about 50% of that roster back.

The Jets job is an attractive one, so you have to wonder if Cowher or Gruden dare take the challenge of entering Bill and Tom’s division? Doubt a college coach could make it in the league in NY for a first time gig. Maybe the Jets are Sabans next stop?

At least with Tebow you still get W’s with ugly QB play- and Tebow can ALWAYS score in the red zone.

Sanchez is just getting worse every single week.

I think Sanchez got sucked in by his own NY mystique b/c he doesn’t look like he has any idea what he’s doing on the field.
