Getty ImagesThe Jets have officially declared starting tight end Dustin Keller and starting wide receiver Stephen Hill inactive for tonight’s game against the Titans, making the presence of the newly acquired Braylon Edwards even more important.
Jets coach Rex Ryan has said that Edwards is picking things up quickly, and ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Edwards may even be in the Jets’ starting lineup, depending on which formation the Jets decide to open the game in. Edwards has been with the Jets for less than a week, but that’s how desperate they are for help at receiver.
In addition to Keller and Hill, the Jets’ inactives are Greg McElroy, Aaron Berry, Bryan Thomas, Damon Harrison and Caleb Schlauderaff.
The Titans’ inactives are Rusty Smith, Colin McCarthy, Damian Williams, Scott Solomon, Xavier Adibi, Daniel Baldridge and Mitch Petrus.

Pretty sad when you’re counting on “stonehands” to save the day!
Tells ya how good these teams are. The only one I’ve heard of is McElroy. Early night tonight.
I mean in bold print.
He can have a good day IF Mark Sanchez can get him the ball.
OVER/UNDER Shonn Greene scores 14.5 standard fantasy points. If under I’m wreaking havoc in the finals!
Braylon gonna save the day baby)
Real barn burner
Braylon Edwards..Are You Serious? this guy is not an impact receiver, unfortunately he circles the wagon back to a mediocre Jets team ran by a loud mouth coach always craving attention in the media.
Not a fan of either team but you should know Colin McCarthy. He is becoming one of the better young LBs in the league.
A future tweet from Edwards will read:
“I want to thank the idiot coaching staff for resigning me. You guys rock! “
The Jets have offense?
hands down one of the worst mnf games of the year. only ppl that would want to watch this are fans of those teams. a true embarrassment to primetime tv. the jets are a joke and the titans are just as horribly boring
Sanchez——-thanks for nothing
