Power rankings are posted

Denver Broncos v Baltimore Ravens Getty Images

This week, there’s a new team atop the power rankings.  And it’s the first time in a long time this team has been among the NFL’s elite.

To see who it is (as if the photo didn’t spoil it), click here.

And if you agree or disagree or whatever with the rankings from No. 1 to No. 32, sound off here.

Or there.

Or wherever.

If there were 50 teams, the Chiefs would be 50th.

Now that Denver is in their rightful position, #2 seed–let’s talk science.

Three words–Acute Mountain Sickness–one of the reasons why Denver holds a 50% winning advantage at home against Brady. This is why NE was desperate to hold onto the second seed. They know they can’t win in Denver. Read the science below:

If you live near sea level, traveling to a city of much higher elevation (1600m) can cause ‘acute mountain sickness’ (AMS) and cause a large decrease in endurance exercise performance and decision making!

If the Patsies make it that far–welcome to MILE HIGH BABY!!!

Please tell me you don’t actually believe that the Pats can’t win in Denver. I really hope there’s a playoff game between the two because I’d struggle to pick one over the other.

50% means that pats have figured out how to win in Denver you dumbass. They’ve done it before with a much weaker team

Doesn’t matter who goes to the Superbowl for the AFC, the ring will be gift wrapped and waiting for the NFC Superbowl champion.

Good I hope the rest of the playoff teams think the Niner D can be soft. What ***** BS….ask Hernandez if the Niner D is soft.

Harbaugh has always owned Pete Carrol….Seatle is flying high, well the falling 10 ton wrecking ball will flatten wylie coyote.

The Niner’s are the most feared team in the leauge, not Denver, not Seattle…..just ask the Pats.

49ers are the best team in the NFL– period. We have the best defense in the NFL (when playing man coverage), and our newfound offense is deadly. You can’t stop the #1 rushing attack in the NFL..

Oh yeah, and Moss is about to be unleashed just in time…

Only two things you need to know about ranking the teams: the Ravens and Giants are fraudulent, while my Steelers are too old and banged up to move forward.

Patriots clean the 49′ers clock in the Superbowl.

rd, the niners may (or may not) have owned Carrol, but not the Seahawks, it’s 50/50. They barely won last meeting in SF, this time the 9ers are in for a fall coming off the overrated Pats. Welcome back to the NFC West.

Broncos in the right spot. The 2 seed in the West was huge. Broncos, Pats pretty even matchup. Playing at Altitude will be the difference, but Pats have to make it to Denver first.

No. 1 looks good on Manning and the Broncos.

Agree mostly with everything except your assessment of the Rams. How bout a dynamic receiver? Or an offensive line that is less offensive?
