It seems to be me it would be just the opposite, that you would reduce his workload if you WERE making the playoffs in order to keep him somewhat fresh for the games that matter.  I could see possibly watching his carries over the course of the season given that Martin is a rookie, but the kid has 2 games left and then he has until August/September to not be beaten to a pulp again.]]></description>
