Both Manning and Brady are having great years, but this would arguably be the best performance of a defensive lineman EVER and he will have been instrumental in helping his to team to the best record in the NFL.

Watt hurried Brady all night and made an awesome play running down Woodhead and forcing the fumble (lucky bounce and recovery Patriots). Watt opened lanes for every other defender and they just didn’t capitalize. To say the Patriots stopped him in that game is downright foolish.

You occupy blockers so that the LBs can make plays on the ball – it’s not a job where you get a lot of stats.

Watching the effect that Watt has been able to have on games from that position even further magnifies what an amazing season he is having. Should be the DPOY in my opinion (with apologies to Aldon Smith, Von Miller, and company).
