Practice players song paid I have a few friends on the Hawks and they told me every year the minimum increases for both but to keep it simple.

Practice Squad = about $130,000
Active roster = about $280,000

It could be more based on experience and years in the league.

Either way root for these guys they all are not rich! Still all are professionals and approach the nfl as a real job unlike others who collect fines like 40 and 50K like it ain’t sh*t lol..

A “good” lineman? Have you seen Black take a snap on the offensive line? To put it mildly, if it turns out he was taking PEDs, he should really get his money back.

And yes, Washington has the 31st ranked defensive backfield, but who are they going to sign, going into week 15 of the regular season, that will noticeably improve their secondary? Has Nick Collins magically healed his neck and is now sitting around the house waiting for an offer? Has Darrell Green gone all Benjamin Button and aged backwards to 23?

The secondary is obviously Washington’s area of greatest need, but at this point in the season there is no one who can come in off the street and take a job away from any of Washington’s starters.

Point being, Shanahan’s roster moves over the last three years have transformed an aging 4-12 team into one of the league’s youngest in a strong position for a playoff spot. Think what you want about this move, but Shanny has more than earned the benefit of the doubt at this point.

I guess? How bad of a spot does losing your 3rd string Tackle honestly put you in though?

The starter is back at practice today after suffering a mild concussion and still needs to be cleared by doctors…but that still leaves the 2nd strong Tackle, Tom Compton ready to go.

Not sure they actually are in that bad of a spot, but whatever floats your boat.

They have 2 Guards and 2 OTs that can step in and play at their primary or swing positions. The confidence in the O-line backups allows them to carry another LB for special teams/reserve defensive purposes. HTTR.
