At best right now Sanchez is a potential back-up quarterback and that’s how other teams are viewing him. I see teams like the Cardinals, Kansas City, and Jacksonville being interested in him.

“Jets have made no decision about Sanchez” therein lies the problem, if an organization can’t tell after 4 years that a certain player doesn’t have it, who is the problem , the player or the organization? in this case it’s the Jets management, and whoever is responsible for extending Sanchez two more years should be looking for a job right about now.

Trade value for Sanchez is zero. He makes too much money so even if a team wanted him as a backup, they’d never trade for him–they’d wait for him to be released so they could sign him to a backup’s deal.

As a Patriots fan, and i’m sure Bills and Fins fans feel the same way, it is my fervent hope that the Jetz will hold on to Sanchez and Sexy Rexy for the foreseeable future, say the next ten years. The 49-19 blowout at the hands of my Pats was so much fun I want to see it again and again! I’ll even let you Jetz fans scream about Spygate if you want! Just keep Sanchez and Rex!

Mark always thought of himself as a NY, GQ cover, Namath type. He is not. He is a Cali boy. Once he is out of the NY lifestyle and media and gets a second chance in another program, I believe he can have some success in the NFL. He is a headcase and before every throw he was already thinking too much about how the NY media was going to rip him a new one. A fresh start is exactly what Mark, and the Jets, need.

Allow me to help the inept Jets with this one. Cut the guy and eat the money. No one in their right mind is trading for Sanchez with the nut that he is owed next year. Just cut ties, suck up the loss and move forward. Make sure Sporano is riding shotgun on the bus leaving town also.

If I were the jets I would make sure they trade both Sanchez and Tebow to teams in their division. That way they would get at least four wins next year.

i think the reason Marky Mark was better his first 2 seasons was because he hadnt really had time to let the festering miasma of coach rex get into his system yet.

I also bet that if another team with a good coach gets hold of him he’ll live up to his potential. Rex is just a horrid coach, as many other very good coodrinators before him were (wade philips, spags anyone?).

This whole organization should just go away. Disappear. They are a joke. An embarrassment to the league. They have a coach that hasn’t a clue about offense, and an oc that knows even less.

Unless it comes from the owner it is just speculation. That extension was one of the dumbest business decisions I have seen. There was no safety net in case he was horrible… again. There will be a change at the top and then player decisions will be made.

Off course the Jets haven’t made any decision yet. Sanchez is about as attractive as Matt Cassel right now, not good enough to carry your team yet way too expensive as a back-up. No other team will be willing to take on that contract. Outright release is the only solution.

I have heard of desparation plays but to let this go on for 40 years with not one, not two but at least 3 bad calls in one game is something I hope haunts you guys for the rest of your lives and the fact that yu have prospered on ths fallacy should and will haunt yu in your graves. Mr. Fuqua or however your name is spelled, by did you go into the Raider locker room, late after the game and tell Raymond Chester that the ball was banged off you chest after you had no chance of catching it after Jack Tatum crushed you. Tatum is dead now and you left him never at peace nomater wht he did in the past. Why would you tell the truth in another teams locker roomand than go on with this farce. Even of you barely touched the ball and got knocked the hell out of by jack tatum, it is an illegal touch. End of story. You have won three super bowls under the guise that you did something spectacular, when indeed you are jst a lyar in the eyes of the lord and by now at your age you shoud be a God fearing man. The game is 40 years over. Tell the Truth. Did the NFL gve you extra money to make this farce a legend because obvioulsy they altered the tapes. I was just a boy but really loved the way football as played back then and there was a lot of missed calls just in that play alone but the most disturbing is that you wont admit that a better team than you, beat you that day on your own turf. And that spectacular credit shoud go to John Madden not Chuck Nolls. Are you really going to let madden die too before you finallly come clean. Just the fact that you and Harris are iffy about it, make yu entirelly guilty in my eyes as a faithfall 13 year old Raider fan as well as the refs. that were scared to make the right call by asking how much security was on the field at that moment.

Better terms? No one is trading for Sanchez without a new deal in place. Sanchez and his agent would be idiots to budge on the current deal. They have the Jets between a rock and a hard place on this one.
