He’s a great cover guy – always in perfect position as the ball comes in. That’s where it ends, though – he never makes a play on the ball and his guy either catches it or has a great chance to catch it. If it’s incomplete, it’s because of a drop, not because McKelvin did anything.

Buffalo will re-sign him. He’s a descent nickel corner and great return man. Most of all he’s a veteran presence that provides depth amongst our young group of corners.

I know McKelvin has not fully lived up to his draft selection, but lately he has shown that if he is put in the right position he succeeds. Using McKelvin to cover the slot position has worked out well. His punt return abilities are reason enough to bring him back to Buffalo. I say re-sign him.
