I agree with the comments regarding him “struggling”, maybe with ass splinters and hemmoroids. You can’t struggle if you didn’t get a chance to play.
He did get a chance to play in Denver, and he was not worth the hype in my humble opinion.
Although if Brady Quinn is still an NFL starting QB, I’d say Tebow and Sanchez have a shot. Just saying!

Again… He wasnt a rookie last year. Rookies QBs in 2011, without preseason camps, outplayed him in his first year as a starter. Despite him having 2010 camps, preseason, and season to pick up the NFL game. Guy just sucks as an NFL QB. Honestly, all of these spread QBs have a ceiling. Look at the type of QBs consistently in the playoffs and winning Superbowls…. Pure passers.

For those who are suggesting Tebow resurrect his career in the CFL:
First, the Montreal Alouettes own his CFL rights and they have an established QB in Anothy Calvillo, who was second in the league in passing yards (5,082) and touchdown passes (31) last season. He was also nominated as the team’s Most Outstanding Player and name to the CFL All-Star team for the fifth time.
Second, there are only three downs in the CFL, so it is very much a passing game.
Third, Doug Flutie was very successful in Canada because he could throw the long pass (See “Hail Mary” to Gerard Phelan in Miami game).
Convincing Tebow to switch positions seems like the best avenue for him to pursue – if he can be convinced to do so.
P.S. Using “his” victory against an injury-plagued Steeler defense missing DB Clark, because of medical issue, is tainted evidence in view of the Broncos defensive efforts in that game and the next week’s results in Foxborough.

No, you’re completely wrong. You’re straight up lying in order to make the number look worse.

Tebow has started 14 games. In those starts he has 2302 yards passing and 15 tds….so….164.4 yards passing and 1.07 passing TDs. You’re counting games where he just came in, ran the ball a couple times and went back to the bench. When you do that, of course it’s going to lower his passing averages.

Soooo you’re saying those numbers are good? That would have to be by far the worst in the league and would be bench-able on any team. You saw how they did when they had to play good teams last year NE twice, DET. They got killed and the offense couldn’t keep up. Stop living in dreamland..he sucks as a QB, not necessarily as a football player .

You may also recall Tbow looked pretty awful in Denver “leading” them to a 45-10 playoff loss to New England. And he looked pretty awful “leading” them on a three-game losing streak to end the regular season. That makes 1 win and 4 losses down the stretch, in the clutch, when it mattered most. How come the Tebowmaniacs never remember any of that?

I am an agnostic but can’t for the life of me understand why so many are against him? He did very well for a rookie with Denver and never had a chance with the Jets. Are NFL fans so conventional that anyone who is not a Tom Brady duplicate is here only to be vilified? Give the kid a chance as pro football is just a kid’s game play by adults for their entertainment. It ain’t a religion.

To say the experiment didn’t work out implies it ever actually started to begin with. If there’s one thing I think both Tebow lovers and haters can agree on, it’s that it was baffling for the Jets to waste the time, money and effort to bring him in only to do absolutely nothing with him. Throw out the plays where he was a decoy or playing as an upback on punts and he was playing something like a couple downs a game.

Just another sign of a Jets team that was just dumbfounding in their decision-making. Not much different than watching Shonn Green run for over 100 yards one week only to get barely 10 carries the next so they could have Sanchez throw 30 incompletions.
