There has to be more to why this guy wasn’t even dressed for the game – behind the scenes that none of us can see.

He is an amazing talent that obviously has some problems and is not near his full potential.

To be fair, he wasn’t the only one who didn’t show up to that Chargers game. What was Ben doing throwing screen passes into his offensive lineman’s back? That’s two weeks in a row with Ben blowing the game.

He is a solid running back, but just not an intelligent guy, that’s all. No law says he has to have a clue, he is entitled to be as stupid as he wants. He certainly isn’t going to get any brighter, which is fine, I just hope we don’t have to hear about him anymore.

He should of shown up for the San Diego game. If he can stay healthy and quit having a case of a fumbilitis, I have no problem with him. Wouldn’t surprise me if the steelers signed him to a contract for less money.

Last week Mendenhall said that he didn’t think he needed to show up at the stadium for the Chargers game because his status was inactive. Now he’s implying this was a well thought out move. Sounds like he’s trying to save face.

He’s a good back, just not a durable one.

And his comments about 9/11 (which alot of people actually agree on) won’t keep him unemployed, seeing as he is still employed by the Steelers.

He will find work fast in free agency.
