Talented football mind with a grade school mentality. Another example of a pro football player who could write his own ticket financially on natural talent and just wont KEEP HIS BIG MOUTH SHUT! Absolutely, every team wants a player who will argue with the coach and disrupt the positive vibe of the locker room. Wait a sec, did I say that right? Maybe if he keeps up the attitude in a couple years he can join TO & OCHO-ZERO on the greatest Madden team ever created by WR’s that nobodies wants.

Because Greg Jennings will be a free agent and Harvin is under contract for 1 more year so it would be Jennings in addition to Harvin. People are talking about trades that make sense. Not the idiot thoughts like Harvin for Cousins. No way. Maybe Harvin for a receiver and one of the Skins #1′s. Or Harvin for Titus Young. No chance. Maybe Young and Burleson and a 2nd rounder. Who do the Jets have the Vikings want? Fitzgerald for Harvin would be a good trade for both teams but the Cards will most likely not do that because they are going to sign Alex Smith and be good fast.

Lacks respect for authority? CHECK. Likes to whine to the media? CHECK. Has a bad attitude & is a me-first player? CHECK. Perfect fit for the New York Jets? CHECK.

How about a Revis for Harvin swap this offseason? That would fill holes both teams have & could honestly be a good move. Before Jets fans sound off about how Revis is better & how the Jets need the Vikings’ 1st round pick for the next 10 years in addition to Harvin, look at their respective positions. Revis is probably the best CB in the NFL – or a close 2nd to Pat Peterson – but having a highly skilled, multi-faceted, game-changing-type WR is much more important than having 2 great CBs. Harvin was having a breakout year for the Vikes before he went down. If I’m not mistaken, he was leading the league in receptions & had at least 5 TDs before his season got cut short. Also, Harvin did that with having Christian Ponder throwing him the ball – not necessarily Peyton Manning, but probably better than Mark Sanchez. Harvin is the type of player that the Jets are in dire need for & Revis, at this time, is nothing more than a luxury for the Jets & once he holds out & demands a 3-4 year deal at $18 million per season – he is slated to make only $3 million in 2013 – Revis will become a luxury that is out of their price range.

I was thinking the same thing. Fitz is a hometown guy in MN and wants out of AZ I think. But there are a couple problems. 1) Fitz has a bad QB situation now…MN’s is much better. 2) Fitz’s contract makes him virtually UNtradable.

As a Vikings fan Fitzgerald for Percy and a 3rd and 5th rounder and Fitz restructures his contract.

I remember that Seattle game when he went to the sideline and got into it with Frazier, right after Ponder threw him a pass over his head and behind him. Without a doubt, he is upset at the play of Ponder and I don’t blame him. Four of the last five games and he has thrown for less than a 100yds per game ….pathetic. I felt that he wasn’t really hurt this bad he just refused to play with a crap QB. He will ask for a trade at end of season.

That post Harvin for Fitzgerald was a good idea. Percy skipped practice the week before the NFC Championship and went out and fumbled. He has never practiced hard, he learned all the bad habits of Moss. He’s young but he threatened his coach in college and both pro coaches. He has major anger management problems. Good player during the games but lots of times after big runs or hard hits he sits out for 5 or 6 plays. Maybe if he practiced harder he would have better conditioning. If the Cards were up for it, do the trade. A win/win.

This is what happens to prima donnas who are coddled their entire lives at school. They rarely had to go to class, could do drugs, assault people, sexually assault women, or steal with little or no repercussions. Urban Meyer had a chance to properly mold his players into proper citizens, discipline, and have respect for elders. Instead he allowed top players like Percy to run rampant. When he doesn’t get his way he conveniently has a “migraine”.

the vikings will make it to the superbowl some time I am hoping soon been a viking fan even last year, also so you cant call me a band wagon fan, I know they have lots of talent, just need better coaching and fill in our other wholes, ap has given our team life but our defense has also stepped up. Both sides need to step up to win, or it would be like the packers game when they played in Greenbay and you know what when they come knocking on our dome, they are going to go down.
