Comments on: Bowles won’t take credit for recent Eagles improvement

You know some of you guys just post to say you posted. Todd Bowles is garbage from day one play to your teams strength press man coverage. From day 1 he has played zone. Juan Castillo just out thought himself and called zone at the wrong times in the game. Todd Bowles was coaching the defensive backs he should know Nhamdi and DRC Excel at press coverage and suck at playing zone. Games was lost because this clown couldn’t figure out his players strengths. Which brings me to the conclusion that he threw the season. Any offense will have a field day when your corners who can’t play zone are standing 7-8 yards off the receivers. He has done nothing but called a little more man defense something he should’ve been doing all game every game .

Howie Roseman needs to be fired. Been saying that for years, and then they go give him that big, lucrative contract extension.

If eagles fans are chanting anything at this last home game, it should be “Fire Howie” and “we love Andy” and “thank you Andy”

A real stand up comedian huh? It would be like attending a comedians show and hearing the same joke for 2 hrs straight. You apparently do not read eagles articles and notice the redskins trolls (I believe a lot of them are the same person). There has been improvement on the defense, more sacks, more pressure, opportunity for turnovers and unfortunately turnovers on the Eagles part has put them in short field situations and on a few of those they’ve only turned into field goals and then you have fumble and interception returns, that’s not the D contributing to the 30 + points that was given up but if you really cant see the defense has been playing better since Washburns firing than you don know football… no one said the season has turned around, just stating that the defense looks like a defense that has pieces that actually work… And yes get off the Dream Team thing, one guy say it was his dream team and no one else said it ub the media and it turned into the Eagle being that and no one else said it.

1. Vince Young said it. He isnt too bright, and hasnt been on the team since last season.

2. Its getting old because its about the 427th time FuglyFlorio has posted it. Its repetitive and old. And definitely not original. Its definitely not old to just me.

3. It was never used as bravado or trash talk. When Vince Young was asked how he felt about being brought into the Eagles, he said he felt like with all the talent around, it was a dream team. Please point out either trash talk or bravado there. It was never a “statement”. He was amazed at the amount of talent on the team. There is a big difference there.

The wide 9 scheme don’t work just look at Detroit they have problems on defense the Eagles had before Washburn was fired.And not only that Washburn was a cancer to this team.This team is finally headed in the right direction hopefully Lurie will see that and keep Andy as head coach for at least 1 more year.

I think so. I dont think you can put any of the Eagles failures on him. This Eagles team is just a disaster. If I were a team on the rise, I would still give Bowles a shot. He did a really good job in Miami. He was just dealt a poop sandwich in Philadelphia.

The difference has been Tommy Brasher as the D-Line coach. Since he’s been back, they’ve actually gotten sacks on a consistent basis. I’m pretty sure they went 4 or 5 games without a SINGLE sack at one point this year.

Improvement? Since when? The last 4 games on avg. they’ve given up 30.7 pts per game during that stretch they’ve played Carolina, Dallas, TB, and Cincinnati…their past two opponents Andy Dalton and Josh Freema. So tell me what are you trying to sell here???
