I watched it and Cam did kick Boger however I thought Boger was holding on to Cam’s legs a little longer than neccesary. Both players had some fault here and it probably should have been off setting penalties.

BTW one of the worse officiated games you will ever see in the NFL. Made the replacement refs look awesome!

Kicking a player is an ejection too, yet he didn’t get ejected for either one.

What kills me is that there was an official so close to the kick that he could have been hit too, and the guy was watching it all the way.

SMH.

Hard to say anything is a “rare black mark” for a loser like Newton who has such a checkered past (including a laptop theft at U of Florida). Still, the NFL referees have been so atrocious lately that many have come to deserve retributive physical violence from the players. I commend Cam Newton in this regard

I remember Steve Tasker bumped an official in his last NFL game. It was a heat-of-the-moment gaff and he was ejected.

Cam Newton should have been ejected as well. Either for this one or the kick with his spikes.

@panther34: The hit on Palmer was malicious. The defender dropped his head and used his helmet to spear Palmer in the back. There were some questionable calls in the game, this was not one of them.

Also, Cam acted like a petulant child a few times during the game. In the 1st qtr, BEFORE the Palmer hit, Cam shoved #56 Burris off of him after a routine tackle. The tone was set then.

Cam is the current spoiled child of the league and he is certainly acting like it.

It was blatantly a kick. Nothing ambiguous about it.
Right in front of an official, as well.

Unless they flagged Kelly for trying to headbutt Newton’s foot….

I’m sure they’ll be no mention of the Raiders admitting they were intentionally taking cheap shots on Newton.

But by all means don’t let the facts get in the way of your good story I mean it’s more like $cam Newton amirite or amirite?!?!? Rite? Haha! Gotcha Cam! Eat that!

The Raiders have admitted after the game they were trying to knock Newton out as retaliation for the Hardy hit on Palmer. If your going to toss qb’s then you better toss ALL of them. Sanchez kicked a guy on MNF and no one said boo about it.
