In a game against the Jaguars that on paper looked like it should have been an easy win, the Patriots came out sleepwalking.
Jaguars quarterback Chad Henne picked apart New England’s secondary on the opening possession, marching Jacksonville down the field on a nine-play, 78-yard drive that culminated in a three-yard touchdown pass to Justin Blackmon.
And then it was Tom Brady’s turn, and Brady proceeded to throw an interception on his first pass. That set the Jaguars up for a field goal and an early 10-0 lead.
These are still the Jaguars and the Patriots, so a comeback is not just a possibility but a probability. And the Patriots did cut the deficit to 10-3 on their next possession. But Bill Belichick can’t be happy with the way his team came out of the gates this afternoon.

The Patriots played two games worth of offense last week. No surprise they’re a little bit rusty today.
Apparently it doesn’t matter how well Henne plays because Tim Tebow will be handed the job next year.
Not a Pats fan, but any overlooking they’ve done was probably intentional. That’s how they roll.

The closest thing you will find is when Wes welker joked about Rex Ryan’s foot fetish and he was benched the very next game which was a pretty big game.
