Report: Jason Garrett’s job safe in Dallas

While there are coaches with two games left in their current jobs, Jason Garrett appears to be safe in Dallas.

That’s the call from FOX’s Jay Glazer, who just reported that Garrett can be taken off the list of hot-seat coaches.

Glazer said the Cowboys have been as impressed with Garrett’s handling of the recent death of practice squad linebacker Jerry Brown as their on-field play (three straight wins and five of the last six).

As long as he works for Jerry Jones, there’s a ceiling on how long-term any of that can truly be, but the signs are in his favor now.
