The Packers opponents' record is 98-95-2

The Vikings opponents' record is 102-91-2

The Packers have three more wins than the vikings, so if you take both teams out of that equation, the Packers opponents record 89-89-2, and the Packers opponents record is 90-88-2.

The difference is staggering. I don't know how the Vikings have managed to win so many games with such a terrible discrepancy in difficulty of schedule.

One more thing to keep in mind, the Packers opponents have fewer wins and more losses because the Packers have a better record than the Vikings.

The end.

The problem is, you were cherry picking stats to say the packers weren't good at certain things. The last few games have proven otherwise.

If you want to talk about schedules being soft, the Vikings and packers schedules were different by two games; the packers played the giants and the saints, the Vikings played the bucs and the redskins.

So, in reality, the packers and Vikings have played teams with the same win/loss ratio, but the Packers have won more

Your argument holds no water.

Take away their last game and they've only out scored opponents 71-48...Hardly anything convincing. And really, the Packers Schedule has been pretty soft since Houston. Only played against three above .500 teams (Giants, Bears, Vikings). All the others have been pretty pathetic with only a handful of wins. Most teams would be 7th in points if everyone they played was mediocre at best.

Packers opponents record since mid October is 48 - 81 - 1.

Will the Packers risk the health of players just to beat the Vikings and hurt their playoff hopes? I would hope the Coaches are not that stupid. You know it's going to be a VERY physical game. Packers are not even close to a for sure win playing in the Dome, history shows that repeatedly.

Silly gunner: Packers are 7th in points scored and 7th in points allowed. The Vikings are 17th and 11th, respectively. The packers were the most injured team this year, and they’ll still end up 12-4. You want to talk about just the last few games? Great. The packers have rushed for 130 yards we game. Thats not bad for a pass first team. They’ve out scored their opponents 126 to 54 on their current winning streak. In the same span, the Vikings have outscored their opponents 96-65.

You see, when one team scores more points than the other, they are the winner. If you want to measure domination, do so by points, not who you thing is better because you want to sleep with them.

The Vikings have looked good against one or two teams, and that’s about it. San Fran, Houston… Yay. This is the division. The packers own the Vikings. Everyone outside of purple helmet land knows the truth.

@ice cube, you know about as much about me as you do about football…which is almost nothing. Try Wikipedia to freshen up before coming back to talk with the adults.

"The Vikings just beat the top team in the AFC in Houston… convincingly. The Packers just beat the worst team in AFC, and that is the statement game of the week?"

Guess what? The Packers beat the Texans too.

"The Vikings nearly (some would say should have) beat the Packers in Lambeau last time they played, and now the Packers are coming to Minnesota and Packer fans act like they are going to cruise to an easy win."

All you Packer backers need to realize one thing. Over the past several games, since the Bye Week, the Packers have struggled mightily. Other than there blowout against the Titans the Packers have had mediocre wins against Division Rivals. The Packers Offensive Line has been shredded against teams with good pass rushers. They have NO run game (Ranked #20). Passing game is ranked #10. Opponents passing game is #12 and rushing is #14.

Packer Fans are renowned for be very over confident in their teams abilities. Packers are a good team at best and stats reflect that. The Vikings defense over the past several games has been outstanding and nobody can stop AP and the O Lines blocking for him. Packers will be extremely lucky to walk out with a win in Minnesota.

Playoff wise they are one win and done.

Don't overlook Packers?

This article doesn't even make sense - who would overlook Packers as if they aren't good. Right now they are the 2nd seat in the NFC....who's "overlooking them".

I could see an article like "don't overlook Vikings, Bears, Cowboys", or one of those teams that someone could overlook. Next time have an article like "don't overlook New England, or Denver" and it would make the same kind of sense.

Resent and jealous…wow thanks for proving my point. I dont resent the Packers nor am I jealous of them as I would have to have emotional equity in the Vikings to feel that way. The Vikings loosing or winning doesnt change the outcome of my day on the least. Its a game, entertainment, and I have been stationed all over this country, including Wisconsin, and I have never…ever…EVER seen a fan base on more of a roller coaster emotionally than Packer fans. Maybe my priorities are a little different….

Sure thing, bro. I've lived in 17 states, and visited the rest for weeks at a time. I've seen EVERY fanbase on a roller coaster emotionally regarding their team.

Trying to belittle Packer fans for being passionate is one of the more ridiculous things I've ever seen. Go to New Orleans, Boston, and Pittsburgh and tell their fan base that they aren't as passionate about their teams as Packer fans and see how long you live.

Ok fair enough. It must be nice to own a share in a team. You have a vote in how they spend the shareholders money, and as the market value increases it may even split, or you can sell off your shares. Wait, you have no vote you say? Huh, doesn't sound much like stock to me, but if paying 200.00 bucks a "share" gives you the right to say "we" with a clear conscience....well then more power to you.

Every sports fan in the country talks as if they are part of the team. What you state as some sort of "revelation" is something so obvious as to be unstated, yet understood by all (except you obviously). Call me when you discover something that not every other fan in the country already knows by now.

Here's a clue, when any sports fan says "We won the Superbowl" It's a shorthand for "The team I root for won the Superbowl and I'm happy about it." Everyone but you apparently understood that.

Oh, and BTW, I own part of the team, corny as it may be, but legally, according to the laws of the State of Wisconsin, I am a small minority owner of the team. Therefore, my use of the term WE won a championship is applicable as the team I legally own a small share of won a championship.

Hope that helps.

Did you watch the game?

The Packers took Rodgers out of the game in the 4th quarter and ran the ball instead of airing it out. They passed occasionally on 3rd down just so they could convert and take more time....

The Titans just couldn't stop even the ground game and short of taking a knee in the early part of the fourth quarter there was nothing the Packers could have done to keep the score down.

Funny how Packer fans claim the Vikings will choke when they will be the underdogs in the game. And having a winning record coming off a 3-13 season is better than anyone could have expected, or predicted by Packer fans.

**********Of course the team that has choked most recently would be the 15-1 Packers who are the only team to lose just one game during the regular season and not win a playoff game. Yikes!***********

Minnesota has been up and down, so who knows which team shows up Sunday, but the Vikings could have won in Green Bay this year as well as in Minnesota last year so you never know.
---------------------------------------------------------
Whered you get that statistic from? Reason I say this is because the Steelers and Big Ben went 15-1 a few years back and lost in the playoffs that year. Hmm interesting, so you are just flat out wrong. Ohh and you know what happened the next year? They won a Super Bowl. Come back when the Vikings win a Super Bowl and follow that up with 15-1 season, Merry Christmas.

Green Bay has among the worst offensive lines in the league. They also have no good running bacs and the defense is mediocre. Rodgers can only do so much. That team would get manhandled again by San Fran or Seattle. An elite pass rush is why the Giants always blow them out

—

Ah, yes, remember this blowouts by the elite pass rushes of the texans, Vikings, bears, and Seahawks?

Wait, the packers *really* beat all those teams.

The playoffs are setting up perfectly for minimum 10 point wins for the packers every week.

______________________________

Who said the Vikings and Bears have elite pass rushers? It's evident neither of them have it this year.

Don't worry though, just when Packer fans become the most optimistic about their team winning the Super Bowl, they'll lay an egg just like last year. All it takes is an elite pass rush (Seahawks, 49ers, Giants) and an above-average QB. Then, all the Packer fans can cry wondering what happened, as if they are actually a part of this team. Oh wait, I forgot you are though. Buying though $5 pieces of paper for $200 really proves how much their "effort" means to the team.

Who said the Vikings and Bears have elite pass rushers? It’s evident neither of them have it this year.

Don’t worry though, just when Packer fans become the most optimistic about their team winning the Super Bowl, they’ll lay an egg just like last year. All it takes is an elite pass rush (Seahawks, 49ers, Giants) and an above-average QB. Then, all the Packer fans can cry wondering what happened, as if they are actually a part of this team. Oh wait, I forgot you are though. Buying though $5 pieces of paper for $200 really proves how much their “effort” means to the team. All they have to look forward to is the Packers so let’s cut them some slack I guess.
