The hit on Palmer was nothing more than a good football hit. What in the hell is a defensive end supposed to do? He is running full speed trying to get to the guy with the ball. Palmer stopped and Hardy put his shoulder into Palmer’s mid section. Textbook tackling. So, Hardy is supposed to stop and tap him on the shoulder? Excuse me Mr Palmer, would you please fall down for me? I will applaud my defense every single time for a good, solid, clean hit like that. If Palmer can’t take the hits, then go the hell home!

He can take the hits, and he did. And I would bet cash money he won’t whine about it, either. He was stupid for standing out there in right field with no blockers around, and he paid the price. I didn’t agree with the calls on Hardy, Kuechly, or Burris. Players can’t play any more.

Dennis Allen was the DB coach for the Saints during the bounty BS.

While he is saying one thing his actions on the sidelines tell the whole story. He didn’t get mad at Tommy Kelly on the sidelines, he praised him.

When Des Bryant went after Newtons knee, which was plain to see no one asked him what he was doing/thinking. They praised him when he got to the sidelines, including Allen. Dennis Allen looks like he said something to him while give him a good job pat on the back when he came off the field.

Therefore, I have no problem with the Raiders looking to return he favor with a couple malicious hits of their own. It’s a fast, hard hitting game, that’s why we watch.

Plus, Cam deserves a couple hard hits for his tired spoiled child routine…

The Raiders have been struggling for YEARS and like a wounded animal trying to recover, they will snap at anything trying to do them wrong. The refs and the league have consistently failed the Raiders causing the Silver and Black the need to jab back every so often.

The hit that took out Palmer was malicious and with intent to “knock him out”- the RAIDERS were just looking to return the favor.

If you softies/PC/ participation trophy simpletons can’t understand that this is the nature of this extremely violent game, then the

Cam Newton cry’s like Kordell Stewart and should have been ejected. Like a good QB he tried not to go down when he was in the grasp. Kelley put him down and cam did not like it so he kicked him. Of course Kelley was flagged for unnecessary roughness.

Reggie and Dennis stay, I hope. It’s time for the Raiders to let a coach, especially a very young one, catch a breath and give him some tools to work with. No CB’s, no edge rusher, leaky Oline, left-overs at TE, inconsistency at WR, a bad, really bad philosophical shift by the OC… in the shift from Hubris Jackson to Dennis Allen the team was gutted and the only part of that I hold DA accountable for is the hiring of Greg Knapp and the fact that he didn’t fire him somewhere mid-season. Now, if he fails to make a that change and the results are anywhere similar, then I say can him after season two.

Or was that sort of treatment reserved only for the Saints?

Screw Denise Allen and his changing the culture at the Raiders. Yeah he’s changed it for the worse with a far worse season than last year. Time to get rid of Reggie McKenzie as well, he just doesn’t understand Raider football. They want to turn the Raiders into sissies, to heck with that.

Actually glad the Raiders lost so they’ll get better draft picks, hopefully they’ll be playing for draft picks next weekend.
