I’m a huge Steelers fan and yes I’m disappointed that the Steelers are not going to the playoffs. But only a little disappointed. Who really believed that with the injuries the Steelers had that we were going to make any real noise in the playoffs. We (and yes we) have been decimated with injuries the past to years and it really has taken it’s toll on us this year. The Steelers need to take this time off to really heal and take advantage of their draft position. Our number one priority this off season has to be our secondary. If we can get lucky and find that much needed defensive back, I feel that we will be right back in the thick of things next year.

Tomlin is the biggest problem with this team. As long as he is their head coach, the Steelers will further decay. This was the most undisciplined team in the league this season, and he is the reason why.

Big Ben Steeler Nations still ride with you. Thanks to you, there are 6 trophies in that case. You will have left this organization better off than when you came. That is the biggest accomplishment a player can achieve. Pittsburgh has a 30 year drought and always had a top 5 defense. You were the missing piece to the puzzle that got Steelers 2 more SB. I’m not foolish to allow a game or 2 speak for your whole career.

The Steeler defense gave up 6 POINTS and in a HOME GAME Roethlisberger couldn’t come up with a win.

That is beyond pathetic. I could easily name at least 25 quarterbacks who could have won that game for the Steelers.

Ben Should take blame for the picks. He was obviously was rusty when he came back from injury. Both the players,steeler nation, and the rest of the NFL, know this guy is a winner and he has 2 superbowl championships to prove it. He will bounce back and get the steelers to the show again,there is no doubt about it. Its an off year and the steelers will be back in the playoffs next year…..There is only going to be one winner anyways this year and we all know its not gonna be the ravens.

All the nay sayers here on the Steelers need to look at it as it is. They had a lot of very key injuries but were still dangerous. they don’t need to hang any heads, to many years they are right there at end of season. Many of us wish our team has been as competative.

An “elite” quarterback is a quarterback who throws lots of TD passes in a high-powered, point-producing offense that averages more than 23 points per career…
Roethlisberger has been fortunate to have been supported by a defense that has been ranked No. 1 six times during his nine-year career.
Being involved in (and winning) high-scoring shootouts usually has never been asked of Roethlisberger.
Those are the cold, hard facts.

I’m amazed at how arrogant Steeler fans are. Its OK, down year this year, beat by the gimmick last year, face it, your guys lost, it happens. Contrary to a post above, Ben does normally “score points”. The “offense” scores. Ben is not a running back, a wide receiver or an offensive lineman. Contrary to a repetitive opinion above, other people than Ben have to also perform. Yes, Ben had a poor game, but he wasn’t the only one. The offensive line got manhandled. Again, minimal running game. WRs were not open. But, some are so dumb and blind they can’t see or understand all the facts.

Steelers will be back next year.

Todd Haley’s offense through 15 games has scored 312 points. Bruce Arians’ offense, the one Roethlisberger and the local media embrace with such love and affection, scored 312 points through 15 games last season.
It’s all tied up, 312-312.
