X-rays negative on Cobb’s ankle

Cobb AP

As the Packers prepare to make their push for the postseason, the only negative from Sunday’s positively impressive thumping of the Titans may not be all that bad, after all.

X-rays on receiver Randall Cobb’s injured ankle were negative, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.

An MRI will be conducted on Monday.  Currently, it’s not believed that Cobb has any significant damage.

He could play on Sunday against the Vikings; he should be ready to go for the postseason — especially if the Packers end up with a bye.

funny how the Vikes put together a 9-7 season and all their “fans” come out of the woodwork.

So glad the Viking won today. Now the Pack can go into their crib and crush their playoff hopes and stop AP from getting 2,000 yards. All to the chants of “GO PACK GO” reverberating through their dome.

i’m just waiting for the day that Rodgers is still in the game up by 34 (like he was sunday) and a serious injury occurs. then they would regret padding the stats.

Randall Cobb has more yards (2342) this season than any of the vikings roster except their QB.

The Green Bay Packers have a great roster and have been able to perform well despite so many injuries.

Even if Cobb’s great productivity is reduced a bit the Green Bay Packers may have get to use James Jones (2nd in the NFL in TD’s) a bit more in their high powered offense.

Everybody else is just an employee, but Randall Cobb is a BOSS!

That’s the same injury that Percy Harvin had and it put him on IR. I’m glad Randall Cobb isn’t so fragile.

Ph give me a break..reading some of these posts makes you think if some of you even know the game of football or just out of jealousy bashing teams lol…if the Packers wanted to Pad Rodgers Statistics they would have played him the entire game not just three Quarters…and what is a team suppose to do with a big lead like tha with over two Quarters remaining?…take a knee all the time lol?.. These are pros and if they can’t stop 2nd or third stringers then that’s there problem..Packers were not padding no Statistics of padding the lead…it’s called playing football and giving other players a chance to play…they knew the run was coming and they still couldn’t stop it lolol…as for losing to the Vikings….that could happen but ONLY if the Packers give them the game…lets face it all the Vikings have is AP.you stop him and make them a one Dimensional team “passing” they don’t stand a chance.

Hey pappavike how many championships do the Vikings have again?? Add the 1….carry the 2 divide that by 6…ohh yeah zero. Maybe you are the one that should stop running your mouth.
