The AFCN is the best division in football, if you go by the number of wins over the past few years. Pittsburgh went 12-4(75%!) and still had to hit the road in the playoffs! In most other divisions that’s good enough to get a home date, especially in the NFCLeast, where they battle not to win the division, but to see who gives it away at the end.

Interesting that the Colts are considered the “new team” despite only 1 year out of the mix during their nearly decade long playoff streak.

This makes the Colts’ 12th appearance since 1999 and 14th since 1995… how many franchises can say that?!?

I still don’t know how potent the Colts can be. They find ways to win games which is huge in January, but they would likely have to go through Baltimore, Houston, and then Denver maybe (not likely for the Colts). Regardless, this season is already a success and bodes very well for the Colts future.

AFC Contenders: Broncos, Pats, or Texans
NFC Contenders: Falcons, Packers, maybe 49ers

You fail to recognize the impact of win vs. loss. A 7 point win is still a win. The Texans lost at home to an overachieving fringe playoff team/previously 3-13 team, plain and simple.

I almost hooked up with a super model. I almost won the lottery. I almost invented a cure for every disease known to man. Shut the crap up ur afcn division is not superior. Explain to us how many teams from the afcn has won the Super Bowl. If steelers weren’t in ur division u would have 1 Super Bowl winner. 1 that’s it. U almost have the worst division. The texans don’t want NE.
regardless of what texans fans say.
The defensive scheme Wade Philips runs
does not match up well vs NE’s offense.
It involves way too much blitzing witch Brady feast of off.
Just look at the last game and they did it without Gronk.
Add him to the offense and its just to much.

AFCNorth almost sent 3 teams again..Rest of the NFL is just not competitive..Each division has one bully and that could get boring..Not in the AFCnorth coz every season is a dog fight between 3 teams..next yr could be more interesting depending on the Browns..Afcnorth has sent atleast 2 teams to the playoffs since 2008..can’t beat that..

Parity in the NFL ended when TPTB shifted from a three division format to a four division format. What is the difference in scheduling for the best team in one division and the worst team in the same division? Two games? Two games does not parity make.

Sure there are exceptions, the Colts for this season is an example. But overall, sadly parity in the NFL for the most part is long gone.

The texans would be a safe bet against the pats ,lost in last two try’s, and Peyton not usually good in playoffs or SB. We all know the ravens never get there so it ok to leave them out of the discussion.
