The packers Defence better the last few weeks? And who have they played? If your going to give facts? Give all of them!!

Oh, I'm sorry

The packers are the 7th best defense in the league in points allowed

That's better than the Vikings

The Vikings strength of schedule is almost identical to the packers, the only reason the packers is a little easier is they play the Vikings twice, and not the Packers.

Love vikes fans saying the packers can't run the ball.

The packers highest rushing output of the year was vs the vikes, resulting in a Packers win.

Also, you held Rodgers to only one TD. You think that that's going to happen again? In a dome?

You sure know a lot about football.

And the only comeback I hear from Viking fans is about how people from Wisconsin are fat and how the women are ugly. At least when Packer fans talk trash it is about the game of football. It says a lot when Viking fans have to resort to something that is completely irrelevant to football in order to get a comeback in.

I just love how Viking fans come trolling onto this thread calling Packer fans 'overconfident'. The Vikings had one good win last week and just like that their lousy fans come out of the woodwork acting like the Vikings are the best team in the league.. Give me a break. Last time I checked the Packers also beat the Texans pretty soundly as well.

Don't think the Packers are going to back down on the Vikings come Sunday either. If anything Mike McCarthy always comes prepared when going against a division rival. His 9 consecutive division wins and 30-9 division record says so. And let's not forget the Packers also have a chance to get the #2 seed as well.

And it may not seem like it but the Packers defense, like the Vikings defense, has improved dramatically over the course of the last few weeks. And they got a running game going too. Maybe not as good as the Vikings but still.

I love how now that Vikings have rattled off a couple decent games, judging by comments in here and local Minnesota sports radio to which I'm subjected, that they're are suddenly this NFC powerhouse that will blow the doors off anyone who faces them.

This is the same team that could barely keep its offense on the field for more than a few minutes at a time for about half the season all while the fans lamented that Ponder looked lost and the defense was full of holes.

Yes, AP is the best running back in the game, perhaps ever. Yes, the defense is NOW playing well. However, let's not forget that the true M.O. of this team is primarily mediocrity. Ponder makes too many mistakes, their only truly dangerous wide-out is done for the year, the linebackers are pedestrian, and opposing high-flying offenses will force them to give up on the run and lose it via their passing game.

Their 'quality' football is living on borrowed time.

Ah Vikings fans. A fanbase who can't even sell out that inflatable toilet of a stadium and were on the verge of potentially losing their team to another city before their legislature finally got it's head out of it's ass and approved a stadium bill.

Sorry, but the years of 1990's and Favre being scared of your stadium are long over. Rodgers has beaten your mediocre squad their twice the last two seasons and our offense thrives on playing indoors. But hey, congrats on your little three game winning streak beating a couple of mediocre squads in Chicago and St. Louis and exposing the Texans once again like the Patriots and Packers did. At least this game has some meaning. AD is going to get his yards, but your QB puts no fear into anyone even with Harvin on the field and you can't make a deep playoff run without having a competent passing game to keep your running game honest. But hey, 9-7 is still a pretty good year considering most prognosticators had you guys finishing no better than 7-9 this season.

It doesnt matter what the vikes did to any other team this season. the only thing that matters is what they do against the packers this weekend. All stats are out the door for the vikings and their fans because if they want to play after this weekend they have to worry about this ONE game. Both teams are playin good right now so it can go either way. no matter what happens though the packers are already in cuz they won the division THIS year, and thats all that matters. And if the packers win, well i guess theres always next year for the vikes.

Throw out all the stats. The Pack are better in one area an its Rodgers. The Vikes have one advantage its AP. Besides that these teams are pretty similar. I like the Vikes if they can pressure Rodgers and make Crosby attempt FG's. If the Vikes convert 3rd downs keep Rodgers off the field they will win this game. If Rodgers starts hot the game will be over before half time.

It seems that most Packer fans are fueled just as much by belligerence as they are cheese, beer, and brats. Sure, the Packers may have had a few good years and won some superbowls, but there as been huge stretches of mediocrity and disappointment in between. Vikings statistically dominate them in every other category since the merger. Win pct? Vikings are 6th best in NFL at .557. Packers? Mid pack at .525. Division titles? Vikings 16, Packers 9. Playoff berths? Vikes 24, Pack 16. Winning seasons. Vikes edge 25 to 20. How about the players? Vikes have produced 61 all pros, 2nd only to the Steelers. Pack has produced only 26. May the better team win this weekend.

Playoff berths? Vikes 24, Pack 16. Winning seasons. Vikes edge 25 to 20. How about the players? Vikes have produced 61 all pros, 2nd only to the Steelers. Pack has produced only 26. May the better team win this weekend.

22 28

Viking Superbowl Wins: 0

All is arrogant packer fans think the vikings have no chance all because they just whooped on one of the worst teams in the league.

—————–

And they’re going to whoop on one of the worst teams in the league again this Sunday. Why not be confident? AP is the best RB in the league, but he can only carry that team of misfits so far.

------------

Really? One of the worst teams in the league huh? When's the last time you've looked at the recent power rankings on any credible site? I believe the Vikes beat the 49ers... the team that spanked you guys week 1... And the Vikes just whooped on the #1 seed in in the AFC without much help from AP. Obviously you didn't watch the game.

These Packer fans really think they are special huh? Your not our biggest rival. WHO CARES. You are ours and thats what you need to worry about. We hate the Bears and Lions just as much but their fans are way better than Packer fans.

What does some award come from being a fan of a team that resides in a state where there are no beautiful women and the whole state shuts down to watch pro football? They think the team rally cares about them or something. It is literally strange. I usually offer up my wives business card for some therapy for them.

BRING IT!!!!

If the Packers come out like the Niners did at Seattle and they did at Indy they will lose, any team would playing that pathetically.AP will not come close to the record because this time the defense will actually bring him to the ground before those sixty yard jaunts after missed tackles and combine that with Ponders very poor quarterbacking and Rodgers scrambling and throwing ability along with the Packers new dedication to the running game and you have a Packers victory.

Both the Packers and Vikings enjoy long traditions in the NFL, Packers for Championships, Vikings for choking in the big game. Name another franchise that has both lost 4 Superbowls and the last 5 NFC Championship games they appeared in?

Come Sunday, both teams will play their usual roles but the biggest difference is the Viking fans will find a new excuse on why this time is different. As long as Ponder starts for the Vikings, they will not be a threat in the NFL.

Clay Matthews didn't play the first game vs the Vikings you clowns. He obviously is the engine of our defense, so the fact that we won without him while still giving up huge yardage does not bode well for your 1 man team now that he is back.

I laugh at the notion that the Pack will win the Super Bowl. Their Swiss Cheese defense and one dimensional offense will see them nowhere in the playoffs! All these Packer fans are shaking in their boots so they have to pick on horrible teams like the Lions and Bears. Have fun if it helps you enjoy the season because you will go NOWHERE!!! Go Pats!

Ponder isnt good enough to get the Vikings to the playoffs. This is probably the worse possible scenerio for the Vikings. Need to beat the Packers to get into the playoffs. Green Bay is weak against the pass and Ponder is one of the worse QBs in the NFL. Green Bay will have some starters back on Defense, so AP wont get his 208 he needs. The Vikings dont match up well against Green Bay on Either side of the ball. The only way, and I mean ONLY way Minnesota wins is if Green Bay comes out flat on Offense. Then the Vikings could come out on top of a 14-13 contest. Otherwise, it'll be GB 31 - Minesota 14. Either way, Minnesota scores 14.
