Not much went wrong for the Ravens offense in their 33-14 win over the Giants, but they did lose one key player to an injury.
Wide receiver Anquan Boldin was forced from the game after a diving catch to get Baltimore a first down in the third quarter. Boldin left the game with what was called a shoulder injury and coach John Harbaugh gave a little more description of the injury on Monday.
“Anquan’s got a shoulder bruise,” Harbaugh said, via the Baltimore Sun. “So we’ll see how that develops during the course of the week. All the other stuff that we had were basically things that will be day-to-day type things. There were no major injuries. So we’re very fortunate there. So we continue to get a little bit more healthy, and some of the guys who have been working through some injuries should get a little bit better throughout the course of the week.”
Boldin is Baltimore’s leading receiver this season with 65 catches for 921 yards. Missing the Week 17 date with the Bengals would cost him a shot at his first 1,000-yard season since leaving Arizona for the Ravens, but it would be a small price to pay if it means Boldin’s closer to 100 percent for the playoff opener.
