There’s a slim outside chance the Texans lose to the Colts.
There’s no chance the Broncos lose to the Chiefs.
The Pats should take care of business in Miami.

So, it’s Texans and Broncos 1 and 2 with the Pats losing the bye week and come in at #3. They no doubt will win the first round of the playoffs and come to Denver for the quarterfinals. The winner of that game will then go beat the Texans and then go on to win the Super Bowl handily. The really big game that could go either way is the Pats at Denver. Winner of that game goes all the way.

Agreed, just think if Gostowski hadn’t shanked that 40 yard field goal against Arizona we’d have been the number 1 seed for 3 straight years…

I hope the Pats keep him out until completely ready. A helmet to the forearm could be disasterous. I’m more concerned about the play of Hernandez. He has dropped many easy catches, and I question his effort. There was one pass where all he had to do was bend and extend a little bit, and he just stopped. Brady had some words with him, but after signing that contract extension his effort hasn’t been the same.

If Gronk could rush the passer or play in the Pats secondary he’d have to play hurt starting this sunday vs. the dolphins, they need the help.

It was initially described as a 4 – 8 week injury. If he misses Week 17 that will be 6 weeks on the shelf. Bottom line, I’m sure he’ll be ready to go when the postseason bullets start flying. I’m sure they’d like to get him some reps against Miami but there’s absolutely no sense in risking it.

theyre already locked in, theyre still destroying teams without him..gronk wont make the difference between being a 3rd seed or a 2nd, thats the only thing theyre playing for. i hate the pats and hope they fall on their face, but why start a valuable player and risk reinjury, even if he is cleared.
